After about 45 minutes of tweaking I was able to overclock my CPU to boot successfully with these settings:

    Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P Motherboard:
Clock Multiplier: x13 (max of x13)
    CPU Core Speed: 3120Mhz
    Bus Speed: 240Mhz
HT Link: 1920Mhz at x8 (max of x10)
Northbridge Frequency: 2160Mhz at x9 (max of x10)

    OCZ Platinum 4GB Dual Channel PC2-8500 DDR2 1066
    DRAM Frequency: 480Mhz
Memory Clock: Auto at x4 960Mhz (max of x5)
    Max Bandwidth: PC2-6400 400Mhz
Timings: 5-5-5-15 with tRC of 25 I believe
Note: Why does my RAM say PC2-6400 in windows and the specs of the ram when I bought it are PC2-8500?

    Computer Voltages:
    DDR2 Voltage: +0.300v at 2.1V
    Northbridge Voltage: +0.1V at 1.2V
    Southrbridge Voltage: +0.1V at 1.3V
    CPU Voltage: +0.075v from 1.325V to 1.4V
CPU NB VID: I don't know what this is so I set it to Normal.
Note: My motherboard BIOS says, "System Voltage NOT Optimized" on the tweaking screen. Does this mean I have just changed it or does it mean I have changed it and the changes are wrong?

Also I am not sure what my Ram Frequency to CPU Frequency Ratio is and I am not too good at that so can anyone help me out? Also any suggestions? thanks
