AMI/Intel/Gateway Bios Support for hyperthreading

Ok I have looked around for days and spoken to gateway chat support to no avial! Here is the board I have>>>

I am looking to use this board with a HyperThreading CPU, however HT is only supported on bios higher then P15, I have tried to flash a P21 from intel (which is what I need) into it and it fails. Gateway said in the end buy a new board! I really would just like to keep this one if possible. I just got it, upgraded form a 423 pin board to 478 just to keep my RDRAM.

Any help would be great! Can it be forced flashed in? Or would that be bad as well?

Or do I have to just eat it, and use the highest CPU I can find without HT?


Here Is a everest Bios report. I assume that the P21 bios I need would work maybe but only if the board was not put together by Gateway. Or can I find a suitable Ami bios Update? I tried the AMI tools and it said no luck contact gateway! So I am lost! Or am I just out of luck?
