android update

hello geeks.
i was wondering if anybody like android 6.0 marshmellow

 

I still have 5.0 not 5.1. Where is this update?
Samsung, Galaxy, S5 Verizon.

 

nexus 5,6 and 9 is the only supported devices(right now anyway)

and run the software update assistant for Verizon to see if you are running the latest version.

I have 6.0 on my nexus 7 tab, so far, good

 

So far, good on my nexus 7 2nd gen.

 

I have 5.01 on a Samsung Galaxy S4, so it should be available on the S5. But it all depends whether your phone is network-free ie purchased outright without a network, or purchased and tied to a network

 

I just read,in the link above, that the current build of my Verizon Samsung S5 should be BOG5 and I am BOK3. I bought it in target with a Verizon plan but paid for the phone outright. I have 2 year contract.
Do I have a problem with build or update?

Unfortunately, Verizon doesn't see fit to put dates on articles.
I selected cache from google and google posted a date of Jan. 6, 2016.

 

I am confused. It seem I should get BOG5 not the BOK3 I have but the link seems to suggest I would be installing what I have now not the newer one.

 

It says software update and the version IS
Software Version: LRX21T.G900VVRU2BOK3 so what is confusing K is newer than G.BOG is older than BOK.

 

Sorry about my confusion and thanks for clarifying it.
I was not aware that the alphabet had anything to do with it. I guess I will just wait for the next update which I think is 6 not 5.1 and I read the "rumor" was it may be available the beginning of March.
I guess I am lucky b/c my phone is stable.

 

Well, it is April 5th and I am still waiting for ver 6.
