Does anyone know of a registry 'hack' or something I can do to make a certain file type come up when your right click in a folder and choose 'new'?? I desperately need it to make a file that I have technically 'assigned' to windows. It's just a text file, but it's filename is file_id.diz. Long story as to why I need it, but I do. I've search the registry, and it's more than apparent I'll need to have hex number for the file. I haven't hex edited in so long, I think I've forgotten how. But before playing around myself and screwing somehting up, I thought I'd ask you very wise ladies and gentlemen.

    Thankx Again!
