Another XP Vista networking issue

Hi all...


I just bought a laptop with Vista Home Premium, and am trying to add it to my existing XP network. It accesses the internet fine, and sees the other computer fine, but only as a media device. I can pull up video and music files via media player without problem. However, it will not see the xp computer as a "computer" and allow me to access file folders (I can't move files from the XP to the vista). I have installed the xp patch and can see the shared folders on the Vista machine from the XP machine, just not vice versa.

Any help would be appreciated!

 

Firewall, not using the same user name on both. It can be anything from simple slap on the head, to being something as a GPO issue.

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is allowed to be shared.
