Hi - I have a new laptop and got rid of McAfee.. I just installed the free AVG, do I also need an Anti-Malware program? Thanks!

I would suggest you install MalwareBytes Anti-malware.

I agree with TimW and malwarebytes makes a great free addition to scanning for malware, install it on any PCs I build. I run SpywareBlaster but are you aware that it has only added protection for IE for several years now?

I'm not removing it. But when you update it, check and see the new items only now pertain to IE and no other browser. I was alerted to that fact by a MSMVP that I trust for security questions.
