Anti Virus Live help needed

I Have read the thread on malware removal but I am unable to run the softwear as you advice. The problem is on my mums laptop and basically I am unable to do very much on that lap top I can not get on the internet, into system restore or anything all we keep getting is messages about being infected and advice to pay for updates :cry

My mum said her laptop has been acting strange for a while but only told me once she couldn't get on e-bay so I have managed to find out what the problem is but now I need some help to fix. I have downloaded the softwear you suggest and have them stored on a pen drive as I can not download from the problem pc please can anyone take a bit of time to help me through this or even advice if I should take to some repair shop?

I downloaded the softwear mentioned in the malware thread, and stored them on a pen drive as I am unable to access the internet on the infected pcsuperantispywear, malwear bytes, combofixed etc... I even tried the portable superantispywear. When I click on the icon to open the programme I get a message saying can not open file infected asked do I want to purchase the update for anti virus. I havn't got the laptop but I will get it later and post more specific answers and screen shots. Basically no matter what I try to do I am getting error messages saying files infected and that I need to purchase updates I can not even get into device manager or system restore.
