I found out that my freeware Easeus is not compatible with my Vista 64 and their Pro edition isn't free (if necessary I'll pay, but nobody's cheaper than free:-D).

If there are any other freeware partition tools for 64 bit I'd like to try it/them first.

    Hey matheu,

I must not understand because I can shrink the volume (which I did to create a second partition) but I could not enlarge the second partition.

What am I overlooking? Actually, I can extend C: but that option is not available for the new partition (it's not high lighted it's faded out). While trying to extend E:, I created a third partition that's unallocated and I haven't assigned it a letter designation because I don't want to be stuck with another partition until I achieve my goal with the present configs.
