Just recently I have been using the Major Geeks Search box on the front page at www.majorgeeks.com to look for various programs. It appears as though Google now treats some searches as an automated request / virus / spyware.

It then asks you you to type in the characters shown in the box to proceed.

Unfirtunately the font they use often makes the characters almost unreadable. Anyone else have this problem?

I realise that MG probably cannot alter the font but it is a pity that Google can't use another font. Bazza

We'll have to stop meeting like this, Steve. :D It happens to me even at the first Search. :cry Bazza

Link for anyone interested in what Google reports in the MG Search.

Hey Bazza.... I use that Google/MG search box all the time and NEVER, ever, had any problems with it. The only complaint I have would be that it searches almost too deeply and finds some fairly off-the-wall things compared to what I'm searching for, but that's usually only after the top 20 hits or so, but I guess that's not a bad thing. ;)

Sometimes with only 5-6 characters it is not so bad to read, but mixed i's, l's, in 8-9 characters etc., it is just a guess. Bazza
