Asus Notebook Seems to have MANY Start-up Programs?

This seems crazy to me, and I have stopped one program (the Web-Storage deal, is a trial of [I think??] 60 days, so . . .

I had hoped these links might help - to no avail.

Screen-shot below shows what I have...what the heck is all this "Eee Docking" and such...please? Do I "need" them ... all?

While I'm on the subject (I suppose this is the same subject), in the "Action Center" (bottom right taskbar, Notification Area), I have things going called "syncables desktop SE" and "Eee Super Hybrid Engine v2.17", again I must ask - do I need all this . . . *STUFF*, please??

Thanks very much, I really do appreciate it, and I spend a great bit of time on Google (and a good number of other) search engine(s), I just get bogged-down on some of the results I get, such as this one you linked me to (and I guess??) it may well be my Firewall being OVERLY protective, but it doesn't "appear" (screen-shot attached) to be too good ---> http://eee-super-hybrid-engine.software.informer.com/2.1/
