ASUS P5SD2 TM/S problem

Morning everyone,
I am experiencing crashing problems with the above motherboard.
I get a message saying, "Hardware is incompatable with BIOS"
Seems to be looking foir a BIOS upgrade but MB does not appear on ASUS site. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.:confused

 

Was this error all of a sudden or a new build? Have you changed something recently?

 

Hi there , thanks for replying. This is a friends machine which seems to have gone bad. I am unaware of any changes. There is however much more info now.
I downloaded a benchmarking app and it says that the BIOS believes the processor speed to be 1500mhz but it is a dual core 2800mhz.
There is also the following error message -
BCCode 9c - BCP1 00000000 - BCP2 F786F050 - BCP3 B20000000 -
BCP4 1040080F - OSVERSION 5-1-2600 - SP_03 Product 768_1
I know that 9c is a hardware problem, I think that the Bios is wrong and will need updated - simple, except ASUS have no support for this board.
It is an advent PC but it only seems to come up on Chinese web sites and my Mandarin is a little incomple. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Which model is your motherboard? I see many p55d2s on the asus website.
