    Hello,
    I am getting pixalization and blockey display faults on my computer mostly while playing Left4DEAD 2. but also when just internet browsing. I am unable to update my drivers without getting a blue screen on reboot, I then have to go into safe mode and dissable one of my display adapters.

    In Device manager it shows two display adapters
    PCI bus 3, device 0, function 0

    I have to disable this one to get the display to work
    PCI bus 4, device 0, function 0

    AMD PHENON II X4 940 PROCESSOR
    Windows 7 ultimate x64-bit
    8.00GB
    ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
    DRIVER 8.791.0.0
    DirectX 11

    Hi

    What I would do is to clean uninstall and re-install the driver, so to do this download and install Driver Sweeper (BUT do not run it yet) download the lastest driver version for your graphic card BUT dont install yet.

    Use Add/Remove and unsinstall your ATi Graphics Driver, then reboot into Safe Mode (F8 at boot) and then run Driver Sweeper to remove any ATi Graphics files

    Then install the latest ATi driver and once installed if not prompted to reboot, reboot into normal mode.


    Do you also have any yellow ! marks in Device Manager, if so what?
