I am attempting to make a tutorial video with voiceover audio. I am using a microphone for the voiceover input. The video comes out exactly as I want it but the audio is choppy with gaps and is unintelligible.

I have tried the various settings in CamStudio to no avail. I have tried fast and slow with various compression types. Same thing every time.

The help files at CamStudio are less than helpful.

I have tried using various settings in the Windows audio console.

Nothing that I have tried so far has worked yet I see these glowing testimonials on how well this program works.

I started out with the 1.0 version and upgraded to the 2.5 beta with no change in result.

Any help out there for me?
