I just tested the FREE version of AusLogics Registry Defrag this evening (using Trendmicro Housecall)

HouseCall is a free virus scanner offered by Trend Micro, that I often use whenever testing new software; which checks whether a computer has been infected by viruses, spyware, or other malware.

The Results: AusLogics Registry Defrag was infected with "TROJ GEN.FV5CBFL"

I know that the AusLogics products are often touted on the MajorGeeks Facebook page (via free giveaways, etc.). So I was wondering whether this infection was a false positive.

Thank you in advance for any comments.

    Good Luck! -- COMP

if you downloaded from MG's, you should know from being a member here for quite awhile that it is false. ;)
