Avast and Lavasoft Ad-Aware didn't catch my malware

How do I fix "windows is busy" on Internet Explorer, or remove the virus if it's a virus? I just did a full system scan using Lavasoft Ad-Aware and Avast anti virus program but unfortunately it did not fix the problem!

I'm pretty sure that it's a virus of some sort. Whenever I click on a link, it keeps trying to connect to the site, but it never does. After that, I can't go to another site unless I close the window and re-open another one. Also, when I'm closing the window, a pop-up window tells me that windows is busy, and if I want to close it.

Should I use Spybot Search and Destroy? I don't have it installed. Have u worked with this problem before?

ok did the cleaning as recommended but unfortunately when in Yahoo mail as I'm most of the time it's always busy when I try to go to another site and when I close it says IE busy! it's so frustrating, now this doesn't happen in Mozila FireFox but hate FireFox and I'm almost certain there is some kind of malware your programs and Ad-Aware didn't catch and btw I didn't have this problem until this week so I know something is going on behind the scene. It's so frustrating using this pc. I usually have no problems with it even though it's a relatively 5 yr old pc. Thanks

 

thanks but u failed to mention how I perform these logs?

 

with the risk of coming across as less than smart, I don't see anywhere where it says to run a log. Even did a edit find LOG and it came out with nothing.
