   Would any one know if Avast will run on Vista and if not could someone suggest a Anti-Virus Tool that is free and as good as AVAST?

   Avast is fine with Vista, Awil the makers were one company that worked with Microsoft during the beta phases to make sure it worked, I use it in Vista now and for over a year with no issues ( I had the betas of Vista ). Its also is compatible with 64bit Vista if you decide to install that over having 32bit Vista.
