AVG anti virus can't uninstall and error

    I need help uninstalling AVG anti virus from my desktop computer. It seems not working at all as i try to open it to scan my computer for virus but it is not opening or doing anything so i decide to uninstall in add and remove programs even ccleaner it but it won't let me do it and its giving me an error:

    Local machine: installation failed
    Installation:
    ERROR: action failed for reistry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENT VERSION\WINDOWS:CREATING REGISTRY KEY.....
    Error 0x80070005

    I have install Avira Anti Virus now but wanted to delete AVG.

    Any help is greatly appreaciated, Thank you!

    How do i correct this? uninstall both avg and avira? please help.

    Uninstall Avira, reboot, then try the AVG Removal Tool. If it fails to work for you then try using the below to uninstall it:

    Revo Uninstaller


    Once you get AVG remove, do another reboot and then reinstall Avira
