AVG/Facebook freezing issue

    About two weeks ago, a major update came from AVG to my desktop at work. I've had the free version of AVG for several years with no issues. After the update, trying to use Facebook has been next to impossible. It freezes and shows the CPU usage at a constant 100% while on that page. Other non-Facebook pages seem fine.

    I'm not having those issues on my home computer since I haven't yet received the major AVG update. Any ideas as to what is going on? Thanks.

    Sounds like somethings broken in the update that was issued. I'd look at the avg forums and see what people are saying about it.
