AVG protection for external hard drive

    I use AVG Free Edition on my computer, but I've also installed an external hard drive. Do I need to also install AVG on this drive as well?

    Hi

    No, AVGs will with resident scanning scan all movement of files so your fine, the manual Scan Computer option will also scan all drives, but you can also in Test Center check/tick the drives you wished scanned.
