Avi2dvd & CloneDVD 2

I have created .iso files and the video_ts folder. Tried burning onto a DVDRW with both. Now, it WILL play either way on my dvd rom on my pc, but will NOT play in my dvd player. Is there anything I can do? I get an error saying it does not have playback.

 

Some DVD players will not play rewriteable discs. You may have to risk a DVD+/-R to test your DVD.

Could you post links for the programs you are using? Did you author your own DVD or is this a back-up copy?

 

It is a backup, a friend copied them and sent them to me. I posted a thread yesterday for a program and a guy posted a link for a free copy of avi2dvd. I bought dvd clone 2 myself. My dvd player will play all my other DVDRW's, so I don't know what the problem is.

Might have something to do with the bitsetting...my Benq drive allows you to change a DVDrw to a dvd rom (so it will allow it to play on stand alone dvd players)

Does anything in there look a little off? I am a noob to this, so any help is appreciated.

 

What burning program are you using?

 

CloneDVD 2. It has an option to burn from existing files.

 

Download ImgBurn and use it to burn one of the DVD .iso files you created.

That didn't work either. So frustrating. Oh well, I will find a way to get the right files. Thanks for all the help fellas.

Had the same problem now use a program called ULTRAIOS its so easy to use and will convert most files into 6 different formats which you can then use your burning software to burn to DVD pal format
