After running CounterSpy and removing or quarantining the files it recommending I received 10 pop-up boxes asking me for approval to either 'Allow' or 'Block' changes to Internet Explorer URL's.

The Boxes are entitled: 'Internet Explorer URL Change Requires Approval.'

An example box states: "The Internet Explorer URLs for your IE Urls is attempting to be changed from: http://www.google.com/keyword/%s to http://home.microsoft.com/access/autosearch.asp ?p=%s

Are these legitiment boxes and how are they supposed to be answered...Allow or Block?

Please answer as I'm unable to use that computer, as I can't proceed any further with the Malware Removal process until I know what to do.

    Thanks

I would deny most url changes outright, typically it is trying to change your default search engine or home page.

That's what I thought but thanks for the confirmation. Appreciate it.
