Back Up Iphone To Icloud Within 5gb Allocation

    My iPhone 7 won't back up to iCloud, even manually through iTunes. I've eliminated my photos in the backup as they are substantial. Naturally Apple wants me to purchase more storage which I'm not prepared to do. I had previously deleted my backup on iCloud but it hasn't made any difference. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

    So, are you saying that you have free space in that 5gb allocation in iCloud but it wont let you upload to it?
    Have you sought any help with this on the Apple forums yet?
