Back Up Software For Windows 7

I know it is out of date to use Windows 7, (I would like to learn Linux, lol), but is there a good drive back up program still around for Windows 7 ?

 

Where did you get that false idea?
Windows 7 will be receiving updates through January 2020. There are actually more people still using Windows 7 than there are people using Windows 10.

While I've been using AOMEI Backupper for quite some time, I'm considering spending the $29.95US for NovaBACKUP after just reading specs and a Tom's Guide review about it.

Whichever one you choose they ALL have one essential in common - that after install you create the bootable rescue media, CD or USB flash, with which you would first boot the computer in order to restore a previous backup. You also need a suitable high capacity external drive to hold your backups as they can be pretty big! As you are asking about drive backup you probably are already fully aware of all this but I make no apology for underlining it

All of the recommended programs work well with any Windows, but there is also the paid for Acronis True Image which comes with cloud storage.

 

Thanks. I do have a large external drive. I was considering using a large external flash drive for an additional backup.
