Hi! I was just wondering if there was any freeware for taking music off of my iPod and putting it onto the computer. My iPod isn't working properly, and I have to send it off to get it fixed (still under warranty) I don't have the songs on the pod on my hardrive already. Anyway, thanks. Oh, freeware or trial versions. I only plan on doing this once. Thanks again.

Just plug in your ipod it will show up as a removable storage drive in control panel, double click it then copy/paste all your music to your harddrive :)

Cheers! I tried copying directly, but a bunch of stuff didn't copy for some reason. Can play them fine on the 'pod, but something like 500 songs didn't copy to the computer. Haven't tried the programs yet; dl'ing them as I'm typing. Thanks for the info.
