battlefield 2 error signature

can anyone help, Battlefield 2 wont play, it freezes when loading into the account manager? I have to use task manager to end the program, the error report reads error signature, it was working this morning and is very frustrating

 

I JUST tried mine to and it's doin' the same thing I think when it does that EA is running server maintenance possibly? It'll start workin' again in a little bit.

 

Thank god you guys are having the same problems - I have uninstalled it all several times!!!!!!

Nearly threw the PC out the window too! just wanted to chill out and kill a few people after a day of decorating!

Anyone got it working yet?

I'm getting the same thing. At first I thought it was my internet connection. Cox in Las Vegas has a bad node in my neighborhood (of course) and service is like being on dial up. I hope they fix it soon, I need my Saturday night fix of BF2!

 

Its driving me mad!!!!!! I can't see anything on EA Games web about this either - Slack gits!!!!
