Before I download and install the upgrade to Windows 10 on my Windows 7 desktop, I am wondering if there is anything I should do beforehand to insure that there is no malware on the computer which would affect the installation or cause problems post-upgrade. I have a good anti-virus (AVG) program as well as run Malwarebytes a few times a month and nothing of any consequence shows up, yet my concern is something of a more thorough nature to be certain that my system is clean.
