Ok, so I just finished reading the guide that was posted at the top of this forum. It was very informative, but it left me with a few questions. Mainly, I have a question about AMD Athlon 64 processors with integrated FSB. Let's say I purchased an AMD Athlon 64 3500+, which runs at 2.2GHz, but has an integrated FSB. Would it be possible to overclock this chip?

Next, what about the AMD Athlon 64 chips with the 1GHz FSB? From what I understood in the guide, AMD sends 2 instructions per cycle, so the true FSB is 500MHz. If the chip runs at 2.2GHz, would that mean the multiplier is 4.4? I thought it could only be whole numbers?

Finally, is there any way to tell what chips overclock well and which ones dont? For example, some sort of guide online that will let me know which ones are "unlocked" (Because from the sound of it, many of the current chips out are locked and cannot be overclocked)?

Thanks for any help, I'm just a bit confused after reading that guide.
