best defrag prog?

Where to start? Well, had O&O Derfag, and ma system started to act really weird, ZA reported that it always wanted a connection to the net, fair enough, but as far as privacy goes, I aint too keen.

However, computer failed to start a few times, when it did O&O hogged all the cycles, over that now. Anyway, hoping someone has a REALIABLE defrag prog, not bothered about paying, just want something more effective than the windows standard. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 2000/XP Defrager isnt that bad.
