Best File Converter Program (in your opinion)

I am looking for a great "do-it-all" type of file converter for both Audio and Video.

I've searched and there are so many out there, and not having great knowledge with brands, I'm not sure which are good AND safe to use.

Can anyone give me some suggestions? I intend on paying for a good program - it doesn't have to be free. I do need it to also covert MP4 and M4V files to other video types. I appreicate your help.

 

Personally, I don't do much with audio... I'm a video guy. But I do know of two all-in-one converters that have pretty good reviews overall.

I'd go with dlb's suggestion of SUPER.

 

+3 On Super for a good free one.

For a pay program, I have used and Like Blaze Media Pro, does audio & video.

For pure audio, I think it gets not better than dbPower amp.
