this keeps popping up now that i i am on aol and not aim

also my ctrl alt delet to get my taskbar up only flashes

 

Definitely run through the tutorial I linked. It sounds like you have other problems as well. Note that you need to be in Safe Mode with System Restore OFF and have the Viewing of Hidden Files Enabled.
Make sure you do the Online Scans! This process will clear up a lot of crap that would otherwise show up in a HijackThis log.

Also, please look in Add or Remove Programs and note any Suspicious entries.

Let us know how you fare with the tutorial. Then, if we ask for a HJT log, please read this for instructions on how to properly scan with HijackThis:
NO HIJACK THIS LOG FILES BEFORE READING THIS: HJT Tutorial & LOG File Posting

Note that HJT must be in its own folder - C:\Program Files\HijackThis
Also, make sure that you close all running programs including your web browser, email and items in the tray before running HijackThis.

ctrl alt delete started working once i clicked on the link you posted and did that scan

but this still keeps popping up ... is it part of the virus ? ....
or should i allow acess?

Do you mean the AIM FIX? Did you do all of the steps in the tutorial? How did it go?

That is your Norton Automatic Update - It should be OK.

The only things that jumped out from Add/Remove were Kazaa Lite & Ad-Aware. Kazaa Lite is bad news and your Ad-Aware is out of date (Should have Ad-Aware SE). This would not be the case if you followed the tutorial carefully!

Please post back and let me know how the steps in the Tutorial went. Did you run into any problems? Did you do the Online Scans?

I'd like you to follow the instructions I gave and linked for HijackThis CAREFULLY and save a log as a .txt file and attach it with your post. That'll show us where we are. Again, make sure that you close ALL running programs including your web browser, email and items in the tray before scanning.

I'm not around that often these days, but I'll try to check back when I can.
