Best way to burn AVI to DVD in high quality?

    I have a AVI files that I want to burn to DVDs and have been using dvd videosoft but I end up sacrificing quality to make the avi fit onto the dvds. The movies end up coming really small when played, does anyone have suggestion for a better program?

    I am running windows 7

    you could always use windows dvd maker (i'm sure it supports avi).
