BFG Geforce 6800GT Questions

    Mainly since installing this card when i use windows media player or the real player i get a wierd lookin video like all light and wrong colors. Tried to reinstall divx and other codecs but it didnt help...Games are fine..no probs there and temps are fine...Any ideas? Also have the latest Nvida drivers...

    try using VLC Player.. its very good imo and for free. never had any problems with it

    Ok...found solution in another place. For the media player you have to go into tools, options, then, the performance tab, advanced, then uncheck the use overlays box. Problem solved...it was driving me nuts...

    Im actually having this problem too w/my 6800gt in all my video players when i play a DVD, not a standard .mov/.mpg/.divx/whatever. Disabling the overlays didnt work :(
