Big Bad .FLV Virus Killed My Computer (Please help!)

I'm sad to say it my friends, but after 7+ years of remaining virus free I have now fallen to what seems like the most evil virus I have ever seen.

Let's start off with how it came to be:

I was talking to what I thought was a good friend (good friend at the time) on MSN, and supposedly he was a flash game developer. He said he had just gotten done with his latest creation and wanted me to check it out. He put it on a file up/down-loader website (like RapidShare, can't remember the name) and sent me the link to it.

So I downloaded it and low and behold it was a .flv file. I ran it through my anti virus and it didn't come up with anything negative. I was a little skeptical of it but I trusted him enough to open it. Sure enough it executed a setup.exe file which Windows Vista asked permission to run. I clicked "No", but even after that happened I went ahead and looked at task manager to see if it executed any other processes. It executed a additional two processes which I have forgotten the names of (could have helped a lot). I made sure to quickly end them, and restart my computer after deleting the .flv file.

I now have a computer that turns on with the fans blowing stronger than ever, doesn't display a single piece of text (completely black screen), will not boot from drive, will not boot from disc (Windows Vista Recovery Disc Tried, and failed), will not let me enter bios (due to blank screen). I cannot do anything with it at all, except watch it automatically turn itself off.

The most interesting thing is it will stay on as long as I'm mashing a key as fast as I can, but seconds later after I stop mashing a key it will turn itself off.

So, in short this is what happens when I turn it on:

    I press the power button.
The fans turn on in a much faster mode than normal.
I can't hear much of anything working except the fans.
6-9 seconds after starting it up I notice the Caps Lock LED light flashing on and off four times if I don't press any keys, more times if so.
After it gets done with flashing the Caps Lock LED light it gives two short beeps and then powers off seconds later.

I'm at a complete loss at what to do. This virus is very frightening to say the least and I have done a tremendous amount googling to look for a way out of this mess, but have come up with nothing even remotely close. Please help me out, I need your help!

Here is some additional information for you to use in analysis:

Type of Computer: Fujitsu LifeBook A6020 (Laptop/Notebook)
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium OEM

Not new, has been working great until now.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Unfortunately, we cannot help you attempt to remove any malware if your PC cannot be successfully booted in any boot mode or even get a CD to boot which could possibly aid in getting more info. You will have to work in the Software Forum (where I will move this thread) to see if you can work out your problems on why you cannot boot, why you cannot run your Recovery Disk, and why you cannot get into your BIOS. Almost sounds like your BIOS was trashed.

Can you plug in an external monitor and try it that way?

2 short beeps ... POST Error

This suggests a memory failure, somewhere?.

GRAPHICS CARD failure is forefront/top of my list as the suspect.
