Bittorrent 7.9.6 Drops Files Shortly After The Download Starts

Like the title says, it's dropping downloads. It's only done it a few times though, not every file.
But if I go to the download page and start the download over again, it works.

These are just media files, and I've double checked the quarantine data base in my antivirus (Avira) and I don't see anything unusual.

Any ideas?

 

OK, I haven't used BT in years but other users have tried this:
Preferences --> Bandwidth --> "Disable the "Apply rate limit to uTP connections" option ( under the Global Rate Limit Options subheading).

It may work for you but it may not.
Others with more contemporary use may post as well.
