black screening on first startup of the day

hi, well i have been hammering at this problem for roughly 2 months now and i am stumped

here are my system specs
windows 7
i7 920
12g ram
nvidia gtx 570

what is going on is when i first start my pc up for the day, i get a black screen, multiple black screens, when windows starts everything loads ok and i get to the desktop (or the 'welcome' text on some days) and i get hit by a black screen and i have to 'cycle' my monitor by pressing the change source or by turning my monitor on and off, i am not getting a signal lost error on my monitor it just isnt getting any display

but this is where is gets really weird, i can restart my pc multiple times in the day and even leave it off for an hour and turn it back on and it will not black screen almost like it is on a timer but i cant find what is causing it

i thought maybe it is my mouse so i tried different mouse drivers and it for some reason worked for day after i had installed them but the day after that one it black screened again, i have tried multiple different video card drivers but they havent done anything for the problem, i dont get any errors with my graphics card while playing a game like farcry 3 on ultra settings (i normally get 35-40 fps on ultra) for hours on end

so i am stuck, do you guys have any clue as to what can be going on with my pc? because i sure as hell dont anymore

Power supply is the first thinking about me , if you can find another power supply ( from a friend etc ) try it :wave

 

well after some more testing i found where and when the black screen happens, it happens right as the bios is loading at the 'press this button for boot menu' screen

but it still only does it once a day, any advice?
