Black & White II problems:Bios setting

    I purchased Black & White II for my son. The game wouldn't open. I had to go buy an new graphics card that supported pixel shading. Now it opens, but freezes after he selects new game. The support site said something about the game using a lot of power and we needed to increase the energy setting for in the bios slot to "heavy". I have no idea what this is referring to.

    Any ideas?

    First, it would be a good idea to update your drivers as well as downloading and installing the latest patch from black & whites website.

    Did you fully uninstall the old graphics drivers?

    Some specs might help as well, like what OS, video card, wattage of power supply, make/model # of your computer, etc?

    Bold Eagle posted this link the other day, I found it pretty useful. Try running it on your system for Black & White 2. You may need more than a new Video card.
