Blackberry Storm 9530 voicemail icon

    I have a new Blackberry Storm 9530 and it does not alert me as to when i have a voicemail. I have gone into set ring tones/alerts but it does not have a category for voicemail. Is there somewhere else to change this? Or what am i doing wrong. Thanks in advance,

    I have the Storm.

    Unfortunately, there isn't a separate alert for it. It's tied into your SMS alert sound. You should be getting an alert if you get them for text messages. There are 3rd party apps that you can get, I believe.

    Thanks. What do I have to do to turn that on then? I just checked my voicemail and I had 9 new messages but no notifications.

    Sounds > Scroll down to the bottom of the Sound Profile > Set Ring Tones/Alerts > 'Messages' > SMS Text > Set your Ring Tone and Volume (mine's at 8) > 'Save' using your BB button
