Blue error screens after logging to Windows

Hi, I suspect a hardware problem but not sure, as I can't locate it. Could still be driver problem. Anyway I drop this to here. Any ideas, please?

Problem is: I get BSOD usually right after logging to Windows (xp sp2), often at logging screen already. When I let comp stay on BIOS screen for some minutes ('warm up') I can usually boot to Windows normally. But still I may get similar BSOD later on, tho rarely, but totally random.

Windows safe mode boots normally, no errors at all so far.

These symptoms started about 2months ago, can't remember exatly what software I have installed that time, but certainly not new hardware.

Error is DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1), usual suspect is NV4_MINI.SYS, sometimes also some other.

Drivers should be up-to-date. Everest shows these statistics after few minutes of running:

    CPU core: 1.52...1.79V, average 1.66V
    +3.3V: 3.22...3.26V, average 3.25V
    +5V: 4.73...4.92V, average 4.84V (4.73..4.76V stressed, 4.87...4.89V normal)
    +12V: 12.04...12.34V, average 12.18V
    DIMM: 2.66...2.67V, average 2.66V
    AGP: 1.47...1.47V, average 1.47V

These look rather weird. Maybe faulty motherboard gives wrong readings? PSU is rather new and afaik quality product.

    SYSTEM:
Videocard: Gainward GeForce 7600GT (purchased 6months ago)
Processor: AMD XP 3000+ (2yrs ago)
    Mainboard: EpoX 8kra2+ (3yrs ago)
    Memory: 2 x DDR 512Mb Kingston valueRAM (2-3yrs)
    Soundcard: Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer (6months)
    PSU: Zalman ZM600-HP (4months)
MS Reclusa keyb + Logitech MX518

I have checked the connections, swapped memory stick places, run memtest86+ for about 1hour without errors.

Right now I have upped Vcore +0.025V and DIMM voltage +0.10V, I'll see if that has any effect (unfortunately can't be sure until next time I boot pc from room temperature state). Next thing I will try is to roll back to system restore point before date all this trouble started.

The crash dump points to your video driver.

Next time put the output in a text file and attach it, please.

Added +0.025V to VCore and +0.10V to DIMM.

Booting from room temperature system got one BSOD after logging to Windows, but just one. Been stabile since then, clearly better than previously.

    Any thoughts?

    1. Safe mode works flawlessly
    2. Strange is: If I can get into a some 3D game, I usually have no problems! Like Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion, I can play that all day without errors !!!
    3. Desktop working, like internet browsing and such is impossible, for I get STOP messages way too often.

    Can someone explain that? Please!

Problems are getting worse, now I get BSOD also in safe mode, and when trying to reinstall xp on formatted drive.

Not much other conclusions left but hardware failure.

For further reference to those unfortunate souls who stuble to this thread, struggling with same bewildering problem:

it was BAD CAPS !! After I replaced motherboard I noticed all the capacitors near cpu were swollen, even leaking.

    Seems rock steady now :)
