Blue fill and red static appearing on laptop screen

    ABout 30 minutes ago, most of the white on my screen has been placed by blue and any black has red static on it. I can't think of anything that I could've done to have broken i.e. haven't dropped it, smashed it, spilt anything on it etc. I've just been using it normally either on a desk, my lap, in bed and so on. I've tried a system restore because I installed some MS updates recently but that hasn't done anything.

    Does anyone have any ideas?
