Bluetooth Canon MP610

    I want to use Bluetooth, but Canon's Bluetooth dongle which fits on printer is about £60.
    Looked on Amazon, dongles a lot cheaper.
    Is there anything special about Canon's dongle?
    Being cynical have not yet approached Canon.
    Help please.
