    Windows 8 and above users sometimes have to jump through hoops to get to the Boot Options menu.On some systems you can just hold the <shift> key while selecting 'Restart' from
    the power off or shutdown menu. It can also be accessed through a command line using -

    shutdown /r /o

    I use the boot options often so I put this in a batch file.
    Using Notepad, enter

    @echo off
    shutdown /r /o

    Save the file as
    Choose the desktop if it's to be readily accessible.
    Then select 'save file type' as "all files", not "txt"
    Give the file a convient name ( I used Recovery_n_Reboot)
    End the name with ".bat"
    Save

    So mine is "Recovery_n_Reboot.bat"

    Now when I want to use a different boot medium or troubleshoot I just click the the icon.
