boot.tidserv mbr virus

    i got a dodgy download, it restarted my computer, now norton picks up the virus but cant do anything about it.

    i googled it did a malwarbytes scan - nothing

    system restore didnt do anything

    did mbrcheck.exe

    help plz this is hard to get rid of and i dont know what to do

    Do you have your Windows 7 Boot DVD so that you can boot to the System Recovery Environment ? You need to repair the MBR from there. If you don't have the DVD, do you get a start option that allows you to choose the System Recovery Environment?
