Boot XP without password promt

    Hi,
    I got locked out of XP the other day and was able to get the unknown password removed and get back in with a third party software.

    This all started by trying to install an IE addon (IEtester web dev tabs) which required an admin password to install properly.

    Anyway, I didn't know the password and got locked out after tampering around in the control panel.:-o

    Now I just want to get it back to where I don't have to enter my new password every time I boot up.

    Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Hi,
    The previous instructions I posted work for turning off the PC but it does not work for "Stand By".

    Any Ideas?
