BootStrapper Error??

    I have 2 problems..
    1.Recently I've noticed that my software discs will not autoload (music disc work fine)whether it be my C++ installation disk or Office XP...
    Speaking of which

    2.I recentley tried to install that and I got the same result so instead of waiting for it to autoload I explored the files and attempted to run it that way but I received an Error Stating "Microsoft Office Setup Bootstrapper encountered a problem and needs to close. Im
