Hi all, got a problem with t'internet on my work computer, I can display some web pages like Google and, obviously, this one but others, like Yahoo and Ebay will not display. The address bar reverts to "res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdoclc.dll/navcancl.htm" and page cannot be displayed. We have Panda antivirus, adaware and spybot installed, I've tried Ccleaner and IEfix but still I get this problem. Can anyone advise me of next step? Many thanks if you can,:)
    Cheers
Richard. I've installed Hijackthis and here's the current log file:-

No replies, oh dear, that'll teach me to read stickies before I go charging in with posts on new forums!

Hi, thanks. I tried CWShredder but that didn't help, however Counterspy did - it found the nasty that was lurking around. Unfortunately that was a couple of days ago (this is my work computer) and I can't remember what it was called. (Just had a look at log file, it was "WebWatcher System Snooper") Anyway, I removed it and all seems well again, no strange URLs any more. Thanks for advice.

The fact that my boss hadn't seemed bothered about the problem with the computer and then freaked out when he saw I'd installed Counterspy had aroused my suspicions. Your reply pretty much confirms it, thanks. There's only 3 of us work there and one of them's his dad. Ain't trust a lovely thing? :cry
    Cheers folks
