The home wireless network has 3 machines running on it, Only have an issue with one machine thus far.

The machine I have an issue with. I have 4 browsers (IE, Chrome, Maxthon, Slimpack) installed and none ofthem will connect. Just get spinning and eventual "cannot connect". I can ping to the outside world fine and can skype so there is obvious connectivity, just not through a browser.

Software that I run on the machine and have run complete scans with all:

    Advanced System Care
    CC Cleaner
    Super Antispyware
    Malwarebytes
    Panda Cloud

    I have have also
    - Reset TCP/IP
    -flushed DNS
    - ran a /scannow

Checked to make sure nothing put anything on proxy settings (clean)

Anyone know a fix, or should I start down the path for cleaning Win 7 instructions ?

Uninstall the below using Revo Uninstaller.

    • Surfing Protection
    • AccelerateTab

    Download and run OTM.

Download OTM by Old Timer and save it to your Desktop.

    • Right-click OTM.exe And select " Run as administrator " to run it.
    • Paste the following code under the [IMG] area. Do not include the word Code.

    Code:
    :Files
    C:\Program Files (x86)\GUM7993.tmp
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Application Updater

    :services
    Application Updater

    :Commands
    [emptytemp]
    [Reboot]
    • Return to OTM, right click in the Paste List of Files/Folders to Move window (under the yellow bar) and choose Paste.
    • Push the large [IMG] button.
    • OTM may ask to reboot the machine. Please do so if asked.
    • Copy everything in the Results window (under the green bar), and paste it into a text file to ATTACH into your next reply.

NOTE: If you are unable to copy/paste from this window (as will be the case if the machine was rebooted), open Notepad (Start->All Programs->Accessories->Notepad), click File->Open, in the File Name box enter *.log and press the Enter key, navigate to the C:\_OTM\MovedFiles folder, and open the newest .log file present, and attach the contents of that document back here in your next post.

[IMG] Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. (Right click and run as admin if using Vista, Windows7 or Win8) Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.

Let me know of any problems you may have encountered with the above instructions and also let me know how things are running now!

Apologies for late response. I tried your steps to no avail. Decided to reformat and reload OS (Win 7). Reloaded OS and had success connecting for one night (thought problems were solved) came back on today and back to same issue.

I have two ISP's currently running ( one wireless and one fixed). I have taken the cable which plugs into my desktop (problem child) PCI Lan card and tried it on a laptop and both ISP's worked, hence I don't believe I have a hardware/cable issue.

I can ping the gateways on both ISP's but cannot ping any external (google, yahoo ect) addresses.

I have gone through services.msc and made sure everything I know of is on.

I am attaching recent MG log as this is a fresh load on a formatted disc so I hope that is all that is needed. I am sure it is just a DNS process/issue that I cannot find, but I am at my wits end.

    Thanks in advance !!!

    now to add more confusion:

    - None of my browsers (IE, Chrome, Maxthon) will go online.
    - None of my malware/spamware (MBM. SUperAnti) will update.

    - but I can use Skype

    - When I try a simple ping I get " Ping request could not find host google.com"

It's a DNS issue. Have tried flushing to no avail. Cannot get a DNS resolution from either ISP.

I did get it working using the google shared DNS server 8.8.8.8.. Still investigating.

Hi there. Obviously if you have just reinstalled Windows then this is not a mwlare issue. I suggest that you post in the software/networking forum. ;)
