bug has me clueless

    this computer has something wrong with it..i have no doubt...but nothin i can do finds the problem..i've tried ad-aware, mcafee, norton, and ewido...here is a HJT log if anyone would be oh so kind to look at it

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

    Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.
    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:
      • runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
      • newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat[/B]
      • CounterSpy - ONLY IF you were not able to run Windows Defender
      • Bitdefender - from step 6
      • Panda Scan - from step 6
      • HijackThis
    NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!

    Did you follow the steps in the read and run me thread I indicated above ?

    Did you run RunKeys ? Wheres the log ?
    Did you run ShowNew ? Wheres the log ?

    I need both of those logs before we can continue as per step 5 pf the Read and Run Me....

    Which of the scanners did you run ? Your HJT log (Which incidently is the same one you posted above but now just as an attachment) shows you have not installed WIndows Defender, Bitdefender OR Activescan.

    Did you read step 7 on what to do before running and posting Hijack this log ?

    Your version of HJT is out of date the, current version is 1.99.1.
    Your HJT is installed exactly where we say not to instal it (a sub directory of 'documents ans settings'
    HJT not been renamed as requested.

    Please go back to the READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support thread and run ALL the steps. You need to do this before we can procede.
