C: (Windows boot drive) dissapeared from system restore.

Hi,
I have been recieving support (from Chalsang, he's a top man) on the malware forum. I had some trojan etc issues that look like they have now been resolved.
My problem is that my C: windows boot drive has dissapeared from system restore. The F (which contains some games and data) is shown as monitoring.

What can I do to resolve this?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Usually you turn off system restore when you are cleaning off malware. Have you gone in again and turned it back on?

None of this may apply but then again, maybe C will start to work.

I typed

gpedit.msc

And then clicked run. I then get a message saying

"Windows cannot find 'gpedit.msc' make sure you typed the name correctly"....etc

Are you running XP Home? That might be why you don't have it.

Start from step 5 and see if steps 5 through 10 are doable.

Yes, it's xp home that I am running. Sorry I should have stated that in my original post.

I did 5-10 and it still only shows the f: as before.
Do you have any other suggestions?

No, sorry. I only had system restore available when I ran ME. (quit laughing; it worked well on the notebook it came installed on).
