caller id?

    greetings!

    i am connected to teh internet via my phone company. the phone line is connected to the dsl modem, and the dsl modem in turn is connected to the PC.

    i was thinking, when someone makes a call the phone call passes through the modem (and thus the PC) before going to the phone itself.

    is there a program that i can download that has caller id?

    btw, we have no caller id.
