Camcorder(non removable)lithium battery only last 1/2 hour before it needs charge.

I have a small camcorder that can use up to 8 gig sd memory card that can record for up to 4 hours. Problem is that the built in non removable Lithium battery only last about 30 minutes before it needs to be recharged (through a usb port connection). Is there a way to provide an external battery source that connects via the camcorder usb port so that I can take advantage of the 4 hours worth of recording? I figure there must be some electronics genius out there who would know how to do this.

Without knowing what model your camcorder is, impossible to help.
Only help available: new battery & look online for instructions to replace.
